Welcome to Sakura's Drumset Database. This website catalogs information on the equipment of Sakurazawa Yasunori (櫻澤泰徳), better known by his stage name, Sakura. When I first discovered Sakura as a member of L'Arc~en~Ciel, I was immediately drawn in by his unique playstyle and great sound. I soon became fascinated with the equipment he used as well. I discovered Sakura himself is a gearhead, and he takes unusually great care in both the sound and looks of his drumset. Knowing that each piece is carefully chosen makes the research particularly interesting and rewarding. Most of the information on this site comes from magazines, looking closely at photos and videos, and in some cases, even contacting Sakura himself. As Sakura continues to rearrange his drumset, and as I continue learning more about his older sets, I will keep this site updated.
